A good friend of mine and commercial fisherman told me, days before, they looked many sails jumping offshore from Tamarindo beach, so I decide to take Our first clients for November month (Kevin and Troy) to that place.
We used ballyhoo to try fishing some sails and it was the right choice. It was a very nice morning, especial for fishing and after we arrive to the fishing place, lines touch water. We did see 4 floaters sails before 9 am, but no takers. After it our day was very busy, we released 5 sail before 2 pm. After it a 350 pounds Black Marlin strike a big lure, it was a very good day. To the end of the day, the dinner: a 20 pounds Mahi-mahi hooked. Our clients don’t wanted to take it so we did.
I think this new fishing season will be great for billfishing here in Tamarindo and Papagayo region. |
